Morgan Edwards is a lighting designer with Disney Live Entertainment based in Walt Disney World where she has just celebrated her 10-year anniversary with the company. She started her Disney career as a lighting and pyro technician at Fantasmic! and moved into the lighting design department where she has been for the last eight years. Morgan enjoys the variety of projects Disney produces and the unique opportunities they provide including lighting topiaries for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival, Disney on Broadway concerts both at Epcot and on the Disney Cruise Line fleet, character meet and greets, and nighttime spectaculars. Some of her favorite projects include Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Disney’s Enchantment at Magic Kingdom celebrating the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. Before coming to Disney, Morgan received her BA in Theatre Arts from Drew University and her MFA in Lighting Design from SUNY Purchase.
