Kevin’s journey in lighting started with exclaiming “I ike ites” as some of his first words as a child. That like of light transformed into a career in the lighting industry spanning nearly thirty-five years. With a BFA in Theatrical Lighting from the University of Utah and a MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, Kevin has explored almost all the nooks and crannies of the industry. He worked for the Walt Disney Studios, Santa Fe Opera, and Macy’s SPACE Store Planning Division before teaching college for a few years. He joined Cirque du Soleil and moved to Las Vegas as the Assistant Head of Lighting at Zumanity, then as Supervisor of Lighting and SFX; installed, opened, and managed Michael Jackson ONE. Recently Kevin accepted a position at AEG Presents as the Lighting Manager for the Resorts World Theatre.
