Ellen Kuklinski, director of lighting design at Coherent Design, is a creative leader. She has been involved in exciting projects worldwide ranging from casino, civic, corporate, education, healthcare, high end residential, hospitality, landscape, mixed use, museum, retail, sports & recreation, transportation, places of worship etc. Her creativity and detailed designs have transformed skylines, public spaces and hospitality venues.

As a designer, Ellen finds joy in creating lighting environments to support a sustainable future. She uses light as a paintbrush to bring life to the spaces she design and the environments she create. Her passion is to design by understanding the effects of light, both natural and artificial.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. She is a member of International Association of Lighting Designers and Illuminating Engineering Society. She has been part of various projects recognized by design awards. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Lighting Design – 40under40 winners.
