Los Angeles-based costume designer Athena Lawton uses costume as a medium to create deeply collaborative storytelling that explores the interaction between identity and the body. Since graduating from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Costume Design in 2015, they have forged a multifaceted career as a costume designer for film, television, theater, dance, fine art, music, and live events, including the Emmy-award winning esports event, the League of Legends World Championship Opening Ceremony.
