Join Laura Frank, entertainment technology consultant and executive director for the non-profit frame:work, for an in-depth discussion on the history of real-time content creation and its growing range of applications for creative video professionals. Laura’s session will cover the earliest examples of live content creation on the first computers available, to the birth of digital art and interactive content production. We’ll see how these applications inform today’s use of creative video production in film, theater, live events, broadcast and immersive installations. Entertainment creative video also borrows from other real-time content creation sources like gaming and web development. We’ll discuss this collision of technology and production styles while looking at the latest applications of real-time tools.
