Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

From NDI to SMPTE 2110, an IP video revolution is coming to live events, but will this really improve things, or is this just another confusing pile of standards designed by broadcasters? This class will attempt to provide humorous and fun foundational knowledge about Network-Based video standards, from the perspective of the live events industry, allowing you to form your own opinions about the technology, and participate meaningfully in future discussions you may have about IP video. Michael will discuss current implementations relating to Network-Based Video, the standards and specifications that define it, and provide a live demonstration of actual video traveling over a network.
