Carbon for Unreal is a professional plugin for Unreal Engine which enables users to design and visualize entertainment lighting and stages at the highest caliber. In part 2 of this course series, you will learn step by step workflows for translating existing designs from VWX, Autocad, and more into a fully realtime simulation in Unreal Engine.

Prerequisite: Experience with any one of the following applications:
Vectorworks, Autocad, Cinema4D, Maya, 3D studio Max, or any off-the shelf Lighting Previz software
Attendees should have a basic familiarity of Unreal engine, or should attend part 1 of this class seriesStudent to provide own laptop, Minimum spec:- PC running windows 10/11, with administrative privileges.
- Intel i7/i9 9th - 12th generation processor or Ryzen 3000 or 5000 series processor
- 16GB Ram minimum, 32gb recommended.
- Minimum GTX 1070 or Better GPU, Recommended RTX 2060 or better.
- Available gigabit ethernet port
- Additional mouse with 3 buttons or more
- Unreal Engine 5
- Vectorworks Spotlight 2021 SP3 or newer recommended
- 10GB free disk space
- Students will receive a 30-day trial license of Carbon for Unreal Indie Edition at start of the class.
