Ethernet for Entertainment Beginner session covers the basics of Ethernet systems, including cables and connections, simple system architectures, and how to use Ethernet to distribute DMX512. Hands on portion will teach students how to terminate RJ45 connectors. System architecture will discuss basics of switches and the differences between copper and fiber optic signals. DMX512 distribution will discuss where to best convert from Ethernet protocols such as sACN or Art-Net to DMX512 to have the most reliable system.A half day in-depth intro to Ethernet for entertainment cabling and network training
